You get five mag plates with spring inserts.The magazines plates flare out on the side. #1 it gives you better grip on the magazine.#2 Your hand is somewhat rested on the flares kind of like a sharpshooter grip. It just feels comfortable.Im running them on my 2.0 Spec magazines. They even fit on the Pro Mags brand with a good push. Look pretty cool with my FDE and black pattern S&W.
