Manufactured from high quality Polymer and uses a tempered steel spring. We put our magazines through vigorous testing. We have used high quality strength polymer with a high glass content to ensure durability and strength. Although not unbreakable, we have driven over these magazines with cars and trucks which did not break them. It's just a little too short to fit in the oryx chassis for the Ruger American short action. Other than that, feeds and functions well

The mag that comes with the Ruger American Gen 2 lacks quality, it’s also bulky and protruding right where it’s natural to hold the rifle when walking with it. This MDT magazine doesn’t sit quite flush but pretty close. The rifle Feels much better in the had with this magazine, much better quality, and feeds well! Definitely recommend!

I was vigorously hunting for a magazine fix for my Waypoint 2020 in 6.5CM. The Magpul mag was not cutting the mustard, it constantly misfed. I tried the Hawkins Hunter mag as well which worked but not as well as this MDT inline 3-round mag which seats flush and is better in my opinion for a hunting bolt action. Love this mag, my only complaint is it can be hard to get out of the well when you are trying to drop it and it’s empty.
